Drawbridge

Opens wide,shuts close.
a barrier between two worlds,
for here now, and there.

~

Rise and fall,moving.
tied and binded, linked but free,
an abridged distance.

  3. "a barrier between two worlds" I like this line. A drawbridge could well be that.

  4. Lovely set of haiku. Love the way you have written these haiku on the prompt drawbridge without using the word itself. Thank you for sharing.

  12. I'm glad for the reminder that a drawbridge, especially at a castle, is a barrier and not an open invitation!

  14. One scary place to have such a formidable barrier with a moat around it ... nicely done. Humans set themselves up in the same way. Visiting from September Heights - DrawBridge
